WABBA SWEDEN

WABBA – short for World Amateur Body Building Association – was founded in 1975 by bodybuilding legend and champion Serge Nubret, after the Mr. Olympia competition in Pretoria, won by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

From that moment, WABBA quickly grew in popularity and became one of the largest bodybuilding federations in the world. Many great champions of international caliber began their careers within WABBA and went on to become legends in the sport.

Today, WABBA is represented in many countries across all continents and remains a strong force in modern bodybuilding, with presence in more than 32 countries worldwide.

WABBA INTERNATIONAL is the natural continuation of Serge Nubret’s dream, and we are proud and deeply motivated to keep it alive!

Since 2025, WABBA has expanded its reach and opened a branch in Sweden. This means that Swedish athletes can now participate in prestigious international competitions and represent their country on the global stage. Our mission is to support bodybuilding in Sweden and develop new champions.
